Where did you grow up?

Well, I was born in Southern California and lived there until I was 8 years old. I lived in Marion, Iowa, until I was 10 years old, and did the rest of my “growing up” in Brandon, Mississippi.

What are your interests/hobbies/passions? What excites you?

Besides theatre, I really enjoy archery, reading, journaling, painting/drawing, and studying the Enneagram! I am passionate about mental health advocacy, and leisure and recreation accessibility, for people with disabilities.

Can you share a bit about your theatre experience?

I started my involvement with theatre in my middle-school years. A childhood dream of mine was to become an actor when I grew up. I’ve I continued my theatre involvement in high school and acted in several plays. A few years after finishing college, I jumped back in and I am so glad I did!

How did you become involved with Uproar?

I got involved with the film footage of No Exit, and helped out with the set for Rosa and Leo,. By the time Tipsy Bard came up, I was hooked! It also helps when Katie Moss is your best friend!

What has been the most memorable experience with the theatre?

Playing Claudia in Tipsy Bard!  Having the freedom to gender bend Claudio as Claudia was a unique experience because I was given a challenge that allowed me to re-create and add another layer of depth to a well-known literary character.
